The inventory series Deposit - negativesconsists of the photographic documentation delivered to IsMEO by its collaborators as evidence of their research activities related to scientific projects promoted and directed by the Institute. This includes approximately 9,000 negatives of the scientific expeditions conducted by Giuseppe Tucci (1894- 1984) in the Himalayan regions between 1926 and 1948 (the so-called ‘Tucci Photographic Archive'), a selection of which is currently published and available for consultation.
